Mean versus Median Applet

How it works: In progress. Please change this. Move around the red point to see how it influences the mean and the median. Note that the more extreme the red point becomes the greater the influence on the mean whereas beyond a certain point there is no influence at all on the median. The boxplot may not be necessary here. It complicates some things technically (we must have at least 5 data points), and I think students can get the point without it. John, what is your opinion? Also we should probably use a data set which has some context.

Parameters:
